Hello, I'm Michelle, a movement teacher based in Bournemouth specialising in Pilates and Foundation Training. My teaching philosophy emphasises a mindful, holistic approach to movement. I combine my formal training with hands-on experience to help my clients feel stronger, move better, and live well.

My journey with Pilates began in my early 20s following a lower back injury. I used Pilates to rehabilitate my own body and found a true passion for the practice. In 2016 I turned that passion into a career as a Pilates teacher by completing a comprehensive year-long Matwork training programme with the Pilates Foundation. My enthusiasm for learning continued and in 2019 I trained in Foundation Training; a rehabilitative and functional movement practice focused on correcting poor movement habits to move and live well. I became a qualified Foundation Training instructor in 2020 and have since integrated these two approaches to enhance my teaching.

Through my own pregnancy and C-section recovery I developed expertise of appropriate exercise and adaptations for this unique group. I completed the 'Pilates for Menopause' program with The Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute, allowing me to further refine my approach for peri and post-menopausal clients. Most recently I completed the Reformer equipment training with Body Control Pilates and look forward to being able to offer 1:1 tuition from my home studio soon.

Enjoy a discounted rate of £10 per session when you commit to a month of weekly classes upfront. For example, 4 weekly sessions are only £40 when booked as a block.

Private Sessions

Bookings are secured on receipt of payment and are non-refundable. For Private sessions full payment is charged for cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session
